The public section will contain items of general interest about the sport and about the chapter as well as interpretations and rule clarifications. Commercially manufactured throat guards designed specifically for ice hockey are required equipment for all players, including goalkeepers, during the regular season and tournament. Goalkeepers are also required to wear a protective flapper.
